Blaze during company training


I keep looking at this picture. How I love it!  All the radiance and confidence captured in a moment of time--a dirty, hard-working moment--and a happy, fulfilled girl!  I feel a sense of wonder--that's my girl! One I've loved and nurtured and known better then most. Yet, now she grows wings all of her own; she soars in places I hadn't imagined.  It catches my breath in something like awe.

fire fighter.
